BEHOLD THE ART OF G-D
By Nancy J. Leslie

More from my recent trip to San Francisco

I was looking at my photos again this morning and realized I not only captured the hustle and bustle of the city, but also some very unusual foliage in San Francisco.

There were plants growing out of concrete ruins at Alcatraz, fabulously colorful leaves which had fallen gracefully onto the sidewalks, unusual plants on Telegraph Hill, and just plain awesome hanging planters in Union Square.

On a gloomy winter day in Indiana, I look at these photos and see the color and the life that they represent and it just makes me smile. I know the foliage we have here in the Midwest may be just a unusual and beautiful to someone from California as these plants were to me.

I am sharing some of my favorites photos to let everyone, still in the throws of winter, know that just around the corner is an amazing burst of color waiting for us to behold.

The glory of natural beauty can be more awe inspiring than the art of the greatest of masters. Behold the art of G-d.
